Why did you choose Maner Costerisan to intern with?

I like the small firm atmosphere with the flexibility and resources of a larger firm. Also, I love the Lansing area.

What has been your favorite thing about working at Maner Costerisan?

I love how friendly and open the employees are. Also, I enjoy the lunches and events we have.

What has been the most difficult aspect of your internship?

Understanding and getting used to all the different software applications.

What has been the most rewarding part of your internship?

Applying the information I have learned at MSU to my work, and getting a better understanding of how accounting principles work in real life situations.

Have you had a lot of interaction with the other interns? Do you work together or independently the majority of the time?

I have had a lot of interaction with the other interns. We are in workspaces right next to each other so we can ask each other questions that we may be able to help each other with. We also go out to lunch sometimes.

What advice or tips would you give to a new intern?

Don’t be afraid to ask questions and be ready to learn a lot.
