Brandy Terwilliger, CPA
Principal, Tax

“I am a big believer in the old saying ‘what you put in to something is what you get out.’ My clients deserve the best I have to offer and that is what I give each and every day. Honest intentions, hard work and open communication go a long way towards client satisfaction.”

As a principal in the tax department, Brandy focuses on tax planning and consulting for nonprofits and closely-held businesses. She has over 15 years of experience in the accounting field, and also serves as a mentor for individual staff members.

Upon graduating from Albion College in 2002, Brandy initially joined Maner Costerisan as a staff accountant. After a brief period away to work for the Michigan Department of Treasury, she rejoined the firm in early 2012. While with the Department of Treasury, Brandy gained extensive experience handling official state notices and audits, which has proven to be a valuable asset to the firm. Colleagues and clients alike appreciate her perspective of knowing what’s important and giving it everything you’ve got.

Born and raised in Potterville, Michigan, Brandy currently resides in Dewitt with her children Payton and Carter. She enjoys being outside, spending time with her family and giving back to the community through participation in fundraisers, benefits and the occasional 5k race. Brandy is keenly aware of the power of a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
