Ken is a senior manager in the tax department, he provides comprehensive tax, accounting and consulting services for the firm’s clients. Specifically, Ken assists with tax review and compliance services. He is part of the Maner Costerisan employee benefits niche team and is responsible for retirement and welfare plan compliance returns. Ken’s responsibilities also include CPE guidance and reporting for the tax department.
Previously, Ken worked at Capital Bancorp Ltd. for seven years as a corporate tax officer. During his tenure at the organization, he was a member of the MBA tax committee, which pursues tax solutions with Michigan Treasury and Michigan legislature for the banking industry in Michigan. Kenneth began his accounting career in the tax department at Maner Costerisan, where he served as an accountant for 16 years. The diverse tax knowledge and experience he’s gained over his 20+ year accounting career has strengthened his ability to provide clients with high quality service and attention.
Many of Ken’s colleagues would describe him as patient and honest with others. He pursued a career in accounting because he was always enjoyed working with numbers and helping people find solutions to problems.
Ken grew up in Fowler, Michigan, one of 11 children. He currently resides in Westphalia with his two children. In his free time, Ken can be found golfing and fishing.
