Mark joined Maner Costerisan shortly after graduating from Central Michigan University. He currently serves as a principal in the firm’s audit department. In his day-to-day role, Mark provides comprehensive audit and review services to clients in a variety of niche areas, including nonprofit organizations, employee benefit plans and closely held businesses. In particular, he assists trade associations, voluntary health and welfare organizations, religious organizations, healthcare organizations and colleges. Outside of his client responsibilities, Mark serves on the firm’s nonprofit committee and is the firm’s CPE director.
With his extensive background and specialization in the nonprofit arena, Mark is regarded as an expert in his field and is well-respected by his peers. Mark is also involved with organizations who require single audits as a result of requirements set forth by the OMB Uniform Guidance do to federal funding received. He often shares his knowledge with others throughout the accounting and nonprofit communities, serving as a speaker at various conferences.
Mark grew up in Stevensville, Michigan and met his wife, Kimberly, while in college. They have three children–Lois, Lillian and Victor. When away from his desk, Mark enjoys creating new dishes in the kitchen, playing with his children and working in his yard.
