Cindy Richmond, Senior Consultant

Cindy brings more than 30 years of accounting and nonprofit leadership experience to Maner Costerisan’s Accounting & Outsourced Solutions department. In her role as a senior consultant, she provides CFO and controller services to the firm’s nonprofit and governmental clients. An expert in systems implementation and integrations, Cindy is also a certified Sage Intacct Accounting and Implementation Specialist. She trains and supports clients transitioning to cloud-based accounting software in this capacity.

Before joining Maner, Cindy served as CFO, COO and Regional Deputy Executive Director for the American Red Cross serving Michigan. During her time there, she led the consolidation of all accounting and back-office functions from 15 chapters in Michigan to a centralized location. Additionally, she was awarded the American National Red Cross Presidential Scholar, which allowed her to shadow the CEO of the American National Red Cross in Washington, D.C.

The deep personal experience Cindy brings to the team helps her provide exceptional support and guidance to Maner’s nonprofit clients. She continues to focus on the nonprofit industry because she’s passionate about providing executive directors and boards with accurate, relevant financial data so they can make informed decisions about the future of their organization.

A calm and positive presence to clients facing high-pressure financial problems, she enjoys helping clients realize where they have the potential for growth and watching them achieve it. She has developed strong bonds with her clients and peers and is always open to helping and supporting wherever she can.

A resident of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, Cindy lives with her husband, Kevin. They have four children Danny, Christina, Ryan and Adam. She also has three grandchildren Makayla, Breyden and Evelyn. When not at the office, she enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking, gardening, traveling and playing games.

I was raised to have a strong sense of duty to family and community. I'm blessed to have found a career that I enjoy that allows me to provide for my family and serve the community.
