Will you like the job? Will you like the people? What’s the pay going to be? How many hours will you be expected to work? What are the day-to-day responsibilities? Will you fit in?!
In such a competitive industry, it can be overwhelming (and sometimes scary) to make such a big first decision. We get it.
We offer a variety of internships in our Audit, Accounting, and Tax departments that will bring you real-world, on-the-job experience you won’t get anywhere else. We help you understand what you like and don’t like about the day-to-day, because it’s important to know what they can’t teach you in school. Doing the work, shadowing at client meetings, getting your hands dirty – it’s all critical to ensuring you choose the career path that’s best for you.

We’ve all heard the jokes – accountants are boring. They’re shy. And they sit behind their computer screens for hours on end, never to see the light of day.

That’s why we host several fun events throughout the course of the year to get to know each other and just hang out.

Annual Leadership Program
In addition to hosting several career fairs at colleges and universities across Michigan, Maner Costerisan hosts an annual leadership day each summer at our Lansing headquarters to showcase our firm and educate college students about the wonderful world of accounting.

During the program, attendees will:
- Learn more about working in public accounting and the benefits to becoming a CPA

Requirements:
- Current or expected Accounting major
- Finished, at least, Freshman year as of program date
- Continuously distinguished in the classroom, on campus and in the community
- Personally and academically motivated
