No one is more dedicated to helping Michigan governments meet the needs of their local communities than the team at Maner Costerisan. With budgets tight, resources limited and talent in short supply, we’re able to step in as a resource any time and anywhere we’re needed. We’ve audited more than 9 billion dollars in federal funds and are committed to helping local governments stay compliant. Partnering with us gives small and large governments the strength of proven financial expertise.
The Maner team is extremely knowledgeable in the field and is always willing to answer questions. Their customer service is exemplary across the board.

Maner Team Expert
Bill Tucker, CPA, Principal, Director
Bill brings more than 20 years of experience specializing in government and nonprofit auditing and consulting to Maner Costerisan. The newest member of the firm’s board of directors, Bill leads Maner’s government team and is a partner in the audit department. Since joining Maner through a merger with Stevens, Kirinovic & Tucker P.C. (SKT) in early 2019, he’s helped spearhead tremendous growth throughout the government division, always looking for innovative solutions to help municipalities and government entities achieve their goals.
A strong presenter and quick study, Bill is committed to sharing his knowledge and insight on all things government audit and accounting with his clients and teammates. He regularly contributes thought leadership articles to Maner’s website and presents at industry conferences and committees. Additionally, he’s taken a strong role in helping ensure the entire government team stays up to speed on regularly evolving federal guidelines around COVID-19 funding and reporting – essential requirements for government entities of all sizes.
Bill discovered his love for accounting after taking a single accounting class at Michigan State University. His passion for the profession continues to grow, as he’s able to offer clients new solutions to complex problems. Accounting offers him the opportunity to work in a diverse and dynamic industry, while helping clients improve their operations and meet their strategic objectives.
In his free time, Bill enjoys active hobbies including hockey, golf, and skiing. He and his wife, Michele live in Haslett, Michigan, with their two children, Will and Josalin and their dog, Stanley Cup.
Growing up, I was considered a leader due to the hard work and dedication I put into activities. Hard work set up a good foundation of what has driven my success.
When I joined the parenthood rank, it emphasized never knowing what tomorrow can bring and always being 100% prepared for the next day. Making the most out of every day and accomplishing the task at hand changed the way I work every day and drove my success.
