Tyler Baker, CPA, CGFM®, Principal

Tyler joined Maner Costerisan in 2014 as an intern. He is now a principal in the firm’s Audit department, where he specializes in providing audit and advisory services to Maner’s governmental clients, including municipalities and school districts.

An active member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants’ Government Accounting and Auditing Expert panel, Tyler is committed to keeping up-to-date on the latest compliance and regulatory changes impacting his clients. In addition, he serves as a regular presenter of Maner’s education and government webinars, sharing his knowledge with clients and others throughout the industry.

Tyler’s love for accounting began while working at the school store in high school, and his enthusiasm for numbers quickly grew into a career. He prides himself in providing excellent service and support to his clients and is driven to help them make their lives easier.

A graduate of Spring Arbor University, Tyler has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. A native of Grand Ledge, Michigan, he lives in his childhood home with his wife, Kayleigh, their son, Caden, daughter Lyndi, and two dogs, Bella and Trigger. In his free time, Tyler enjoys being out in the woods and mountains with friends and family, camping, hunting, and hiking.
