Courtney Bean, CPA, Senior Manager
Courtney is a senior manager in Maner’s Audit department, joining the firm as part of a merger with McCartney & Company in 2014. With nearly a decade of experience in the industry, she’s found her passion in supporting the firm’s affordable housing and nonprofit clients.
An expert in completing logic puzzles, Courtney knew she wanted to be an accountant after taking one accounting class in high school. She’s continued to grow throughout her career at Maner, helping clients solve their own complex puzzles and problems. Courtney is an active member of Maner’s Affordable Housing and Nonprofit Committees and enjoys working with clients in both practice areas.
Courtney graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration in Value-Driven Organization. She lives in Dewitt, Michigan, with her husband, Eathan, their son, Oliver, and two dogs, Ren and Chester. In her free time, Courtney enjoys reading, gardening, completing jigsaw puzzles and spending time with family.
On the first day I started at Maner, I was told the two most important things in our career is to do the right thing and to be honest with our clients. It may not be the easiest thing to do and sometimes we must have some difficult conversations, but I'm grateful to be part of a company that operates on a strong sense of integrity.
