Jeff Straus, CPA, Principal, Director
Jeff is a principal in the Audit department and was elected to the firm’s Board of Directors in 2023. With more than 15 years of audit and public accounting experience, he specializes in providing audit services to Maner’s education and nonprofit clients. Jeff is an active member of the firm’s Education Committee and serves as finance director for a charter school district, advising and supporting school leadership on financial decisions impacting the district.
Lessons his father taught him as a child – to work hard and give everything you have – are what drive Jeff every day. He takes pride in the work and the important services Maner offers. He is driven to provide the best service possible to his clients, providing a common-sense approach to solving their problems and offering the support they need to succeed.
Jeff graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a master’s degree in Accounting. In his free time, he enjoys making memories while on camping and hiking adventures with his family. His hobbies include golf and hunting. Jeff lives in DeWitt, Michigan, with his wife, Angela, and their three daughters, Elizabeth, Emily, and Evelyn. The family includes a German Shepherd, Dodger, and two cats, Theodosia and Gomez.
