Sara Knoper, CPA, Senior Manager

Sara is a senior manager in the Tax department at Maner Costerisan and joined the firm as part of the Baker Holtz merger, bringing 18 years of experience with Baker Holtz, where she spent her entire professional career. Her work focuses on tax compliance and consulting for businesses and their owners, including individual taxation and select estate and trust planning engagements. She particularly enjoys working with high net worth families and individuals, helping them develop thoughtful, effective tax strategies aligned with their long-term financial goals.

Throughout her career, Sara has been driven by a strong interest in personal finance and wealth-building strategies. She values client engagement and collaboration, both in developing tax-saving strategies with clients and in mentoring colleagues as they grow in their careers.

Sara earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Grand Valley State University. She resides in Hudsonville, Michigan, with her husband, Kyle, their children, Braylee and Caden, and their English Cream Golden Retriever, Roxy. Outside of work, she enjoys boating and watersports, biking, spending time at the beach, traveling, working out, and cheering on her kids at sporting events.
