Jeff Mason, CPA, Senior Manager

Jeff joined Maner Costerisan in 2024 and is a senior manager in the Tax department.  Jeff brings nearly 30 years of public accounting tax experience to the firm.  As part of his day-to-day responsibilities, Jeff works with Affordable Housing, Professional Services, Retail, and individual income tax clients.

Prior to joining Maner, Jeff was a tax manager at a local CPA firm, working extensively with real estate partnerships.  He also served as a VP/Controller of a Lansing industrial supply company and operated his own public accounting practice as a sole proprietor for seven years.  During this time, he learned the many skills necessary to operate a small business, including the importance of listening to clients to build rapport and determine their needs.

Jeff discovered his love for numbers in elementary school and by the time he reached high school, he knew that he wanted to become a CPA.  Over the years, Jeff has come to appreciate the rewards that come with helping clients to navigate tax matters and values the lasting client relationships that are built along the way.

Jeff graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting.  He lives in Lansing, Michigan, with his high school sweetheart, Sharon.  In his free time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, genealogy and traveling.
