Jim Normand, CPA, Senior Manager

Jim joined Maner Costerisan in 2023 and is a senior manager in the Accounting and Outsourced Solutions department. He brings 35 years of experience to the firm, including deep expertise in public and industry accounting, as well as business operations.

Jim specializes in providing consultative support to the firm’s manufacturing and small and midsize business clients, offering them strategic and proactive solutions to help manage their finances. Always one to offer actionable support, especially for those clients battling with inconsistent financial records, Jim is passionate about helping his clients improve their situations and loves the opportunity to solve different challenges.

Prior to Maner, Jim owned and managed his own company serving the building construction market prior to joining the firm, and most recently served as a CFO consultant for a manufacturing company.

A graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business with an Accounting Specialty and Northern Michigan University with a Master of Business Administration, Jim also studied Petroleum Accounting at Texas Tech University. He lives in Detroit, Michigan, with his wife. He has four daughters and eight grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys grouse hunting and golf.
