Rick Tanke, CPA, PFS, RIA, Principal

Rick joined Maner Costerisan in January 2023, when the firm merged with Hall & Romkema, PLC. During his 32 years at Hall & Romkema, PLC, he assisted clients in overcoming their accounting, tax, wealth and technology challenges and helped them develop future plans. In his role as a principal in Maner’s Accounting and Outsourced Solutions department, he advises small and midsize businesses on making decisions and orchestrating realistic and goals-driven strategic plans. Rick is also a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA).

As someone who loves working with numbers and problem-solving, accounting is the perfect industry for Rick. He enjoys getting to know people from diverse backgrounds and industries and helping them succeed.

A good listener focused on helping his clients manage the challenges of today and plan for whatever is next, Rick credits his blend of hard work and sense of humor to his father.

Rick graduated from Michigan State University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. A native of Grand Rapids, Rick lives in DeWitt, Michigan, with his wife, Chris. The pair have two sons, Josh and Ben, and two Australian Shepherds, Dewey and Miggy. In his free time, Rick enjoys watching Michigan State sports, tailgating with friends and family, fishing, camping, and shooting sports.
