Casey Wendling, Manager

Casey joined Maner Costerisan in 2014 and is a manager in the Accounting and Outsourced Solutions department. He works primarily with Maner’s small and midsize business clients and has developed a specialization in supporting their growth. Casey has supported many Biggby Coffee owners opening their first businesses in numerous states, preparing monthly tax basis financial statements, and reconciling numbers for year-end taxes. In addition, Casey is an onboarding startup specialist where he trains new owners and helps get their businesses started on the right foot. He is also the training and Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Coordinator for the Accounting and Outsourced Solutions Department.

Before joining Maner, Casey worked as a bookkeeper at a construction company, gaining experience with QuickBooks and building his customer service skills while learning the ins and outs of accounting. Casey found his passion for accounting in high school; he liked the idea of managing books for small businesses and tying numbers out to the penny while staying organized. His father is a small business owner, and Casey has always wanted to take care of the accounting for entrepreneurs.

A Saginaw Valley State University graduate with a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy with a minor in Economics, Casey lives in Potterville, Michigan, with his wife, Kelly, and their cat, Penny. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, kayaking on the lake, smoking a wide range of barbeque meats, and watching baseball – he has visited 14 of the 30 MLB parks.

Be enthusiastic and caring about everything you do and everyone you meet – unknown.

Takeaway: I always seem to run into someone everywhere I go.
