Maner Costerisan Expands West Michigan Business Advisory Presence With Kristen Terpstra
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – As business owners navigate economic uncertainty, rapid technological change and increasing operational complexity, the need for strategic business guidance has never been greater. To help organizations meet those challenges, Maner Costerisan, a full-service public accounting and business consulting firm, has expanded its West Michigan business advisory presence with Kristen Terpstra, business development manager.

Based in Grand Rapids, Terpstra works alongside Maner Costerisan’s advisory, tax and accounting teams to build relationships across the West Michigan business community, identify client needs and connect organizations with strategic resources and solutions designed to support growth, improve operations and strengthen long-term financial health.
“Today’s businesses need more than traditional accounting support — they need strategic insight and practical guidance to adapt and grow,” said Maner Costerisan President Trey Williams. “Kristen’s experience in business development and her strong understanding of client needs make her a valuable resource for organizations looking to navigate change and plan for the future.”
Terpstra brings more than 20 years of client relationship and business development experience to the role. Before joining Maner Costerisan in 2026, she spent more than seven years with CoStar Group, where she served as both sales associate and sales executive, helping commercial real estate professionals leverage market data and technology to make informed business decisions. Her background also includes sales and account management roles with MOSS, Fire Pros Inc., X-Rite, Graybar Electric, Cavalier Telephone and Premiere Global Services.
Her addition supports Maner Costerisan’s continued growth in Grand Rapids following its merger with Baker Holtz earlier this year. The merger expanded Maner Costerisan’s presence in West Michigan, combining Baker Holtz’s longstanding regional relationships with Maner’s broader business consulting, tax and accounting resources. It also brings specialized nonprofit accounting, audit, and advisory expertise to West Michigan organizations seeking support for their missions and operations.
As the accounting profession continues to evolve, firms are increasingly stepping into broader advisory roles, helping business owners not only understand their financial position but also make informed decisions about strategy, operations and long-term success. Terpstra’s role reflects that shift, strengthening Maner Costerisan’s ability to serve as a trusted business consultant for organizations throughout West Michigan.
