Maner Costerisan named Best Place to Work in Southeast Michigan
Public accounting and business advisory firm ranked No. 23 overall
LANSING, Mich. – Maner Costerisan has been recognized as one of Southeast Michigan’s Best Places to Work. Best Companies Group, in partnership with Crain’s Detroit Business, created the ‘Best Places to Work in Southeast Michigan’ list to recognize the top 100 companies throughout Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Ingham, Livingston, Lapeer, Genesee, St. Clair, Monroe, Lenawee and Jackson counties. “Being recognized as one of the best places to work demonstrates our ongoing commitment to establishing a positive work environment that celebrates our team members and values their contributions,” said Trey Williams, CPA, president, Maner Costerisan. Headquartered in Lansing, Michigan, which is in Ingham County, the public accounting and business advisory firm ranked No. 23 on the prestigious list based on a two-part survey process. The first part evaluates each nominated company’s policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics, contributing to 25% of the overall score. The second component is an employee survey to measure the employee experience and assess worker satisfaction, which accounts for 75% of the total evaluation. The sum of their scores determined the top companies and final rankings. Last year, Maner ranked No. 40 overall on Crain’s Detroit’s 2022 Cool Places to Work, which has since been replaced with the Best Places to Work in Southeast Michigan distinction. Companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements to be considered for the annual list:- Be a for-profit, not-for-profit business or government entity;
- Be a publicly or privately held business;
- Have a facility and at least 15 employees working in Southeast Michigan; and
- Be in business for a minimum of one year.
- Maner Costerisan Cares, a community outreach program that enables Maner team members to donate their time and resources to local issues and community activities that are meaningful to them.
- Assigned career advisors and development programs that recognize and reward hard work.
- Up to $500 in reimbursements to encourage wellness and well-being.
